New Stickers!
My Thanksgiving stickers are going very fast! :-) Two sheets are almost gone. In addition, my friend in Japan sent me these to use in lessons. Click for a larger image. Want them? Practice hard!
Many of my students are starting to prepare for their student recital performances. I'm very excited to have them play something challenging yet rewarding. One of them got a piece that she had wanted to play for a while -- Harry Potter medley! You can find the sheet music on "For Chie's Students" page if you have a password.

Student Achievement News
This blog is not just about stickers (ahem). As my students finish a method book or a big piece, I will post their achievement here (with parental permission).
So here is the first one. Yuri Maeno finished the entire Violin Concerto No.1 by W. A. Mozart this week. Congratulations! She started the first movement before the summer, then worked on all three movements with me, September to November 9. That was really fast, I have to say. I knew right away that she loved the third movement.
Her next piece is the first movement of Violin Concerto by Kabalevsky. Cool and fun piece, good luck!
Here is the Mozart concerto on YouTube.
