Petite Concerts at Greenwich Library

2/12/2016

 Last year, I joined my long-time friend and an amazing musician, Chi-Chi Bestmann, at her Petite Concert in Scarsdale, NY. It's a short interactive concert for young listeners (newborn to preschool) that she created. It has been going on at Scarsdale Public Library for almost 3 years now. In December 2015, we brought it to Greenwich Library to introduce it and we launched a series there for the rest of the season. We are very excited about this!

The dates at Greenwich Library are;
Feb 16
March 22
April 26
May 24
June 14
10:30-11am in the Children's Room

The admission is free for all and there's no registration required. Here is the library's event info: [calendar]

Chi-Chi will be playing the viola with me in February and March, and I will be bringing other instrumentalists the following months.

 All kids are welcomed to sing and dance to the music and just be kids!

 At the end of each concert there is an instrument discovery session where the audience gets to try a small violin.
