photo shoot!

Finally, I have a new set of headshots! Many many thanks to Shiori Kawasaki for taking many different cuts :-) Here are the ones that I'm already using on this website. And I just sent the first photo to my next big concert's organizer.

 And many more here :-)

It was a chilly morning when we shot but we had fun. All locations are in West Village in Manhattan. By the time we got to the last shots on a bench, I was literally shaking. And if you are curious, the prop I brought was Beethoven's violin concerto music; it's the piece I feel the most attachment to. And I made sure to show that I use Henle edition!

Funny thing is, every time I have a photo shoot, the first thing that comes to my mind is "what should I do with my bow? Should it be in the picture?" My quartet also had that question (we ended up without our bows). I have seen a very few violinists' headshots just with a bow.

 Thanks again, Shiori!!
