Thanks to those who came to see our Les Mis in Stamford! And BIG congratulations to the cast and crew! And great job to the orchestra -- I spent 6 days total in the pit (2 rehearsals and 4 shows) and had such a great time.
Here are two more videos from our opening night. Enjoy our wonderful Eponine and Marius sing and the ABC's men act!

After the last show, Nick, a wind player, and I climbed up one of the barricade sets for fun :P

Funny thing is that the orchestra is so busy playing, we don't really hear the lyrics. We did try to sing "Master of the House" but oh boy, all we knew was "master of the house"! I guess the other words that we picked up were "24601" through the show, "red ..... black...." from "Red and Black", "drink with me". And a bit of "Do You Hear the People Sing?".

In my conversations with my students who came to see the show, I found how the production inspired them in many ways: the story, the characters, acting, singing, the music etc. We discussed many things from the show and I'm really happy that their experience at the theater was that inspiring!

Now that Les Mis is over, I'm onto next things: Collegium Westchester concerts and Lent Evening Prayer service this week and I'm really looking forward to playing with the Ridgefield Symphony again on April 6. Please see the concert listing.
